A North Dakota farm boy at heart who met a Michigan city girl at heart, we have lived in Arizona for nearly 37 years.  Ginny and I have been married for 53 years this July 2022.  I finished college at Grand Rapids Baptist College (now Cornerstone University) and a grad program at Michigan State University.  Both our boys were born in Grand Rapids, one now lives in North Carolina and one in Maine. They have given us 7 grandchildren.  

I pastored in Michigan for about 9 years, and then moved to Arizona and pastored bi-vocationally for about 9 years.  I taught ESL and GED classes and drove a school bus to supplement our income for about 25 years. 

Teaching our adult Sunday School class is a joy.  It seems like most everything I do revolves around teaching, as I lead a discipleship class for mainly teens, and teach woodworking to some homeschoolers.  I also enjoy reading and doing woodworking when I have time.  Recreational shooting and fishing are things I thought I would do when I retired.  Guess I’ll have to rethink what retirement is all about.

I have been married for 17 years to Cristina and we have 3 beautiful daughters with whom I enjoy spending time with. I work in Technical Operations for a company within the Semiconductor Industry and have been training CrossFit for the last 6 years. I have a B.S. in Industrial Engineering and recently received my MBA. I love the Church community at FBC.

I have been married to my high school sweetheart, Aaron, for 23 years. I have 3 beautiful children, Sarah entering her 3rd year at the U of A, Nicole graduating from NHS, and Gabriel entering his 2nd year of middle school this fall. I love going to the beach and watching crime shows such as Blue Bloods. I am a University of Arizona graduate with a degree in education. I’ve taught in the local public school system and served as Director of our Sonshine School ministry. Today my husband and I have the privilege of leading the High School Youth Program at FBC. It has been a true blessing to serve the Lord through these ministries!

I am originally from Iowa, and moved to Rio Rico when I was 8. I received an associates degree for communications electronics and have an EPA 608 HVAC and ham radio license. I have continued to work for Chamberlain Manufacturing for 35 years and am part of their Engineering staff, supervising made to order Products. 
I have been married to Pamela for 33 years. We have 4 grown kids and 4 grand kids. I enjoy hiking, shooting, and fishing. At FBC, I have served as a Trustee and on the sound board for the music team.

I spent all except four years of my 29 years of life in “ambos Nogales” and have enjoyed learning more about the dynamics of Mexican culture that permeates everything from how we order food at McDonalds to how we find ways to serve the reggaeton loving, carne asada eating, and unfortunately very “metiche/mitotera” community. We need Jesus’ forgiveness and help for sure. I have five younger sisters, parents, and live in the same home I grew up in. I’ve spent five years working as a band director for a local middle school, and I enjoy reading, being outdoors, and meeting new people.
