Care Groups (our Small Group Ministry)
Care Groups: “Doing Life Together”
We all need the fellowship and encouragement of others as we go through life and face the up’s and down’s life brings. Through positive times and difficult times, others always make it better or easier. As the Bible says: Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. (Romans 12:15). Our Care Groups normally run from September to June, with a few meeting through the summer as well. In a Care Group, we get to know each other better, read and discuss the Bible and how it applies to our lives, and pray for one another.
Care groups are small groups of people (6 – 15) who share the life of Jesus together in the midst of their life. They are designed to provide a friendly, supportive environment where people grow in their spiritual life with God and grow together in developing deeper friendships with others. Care groups meet weekly or bi-weekly, usually in a home or at FBC.
What happens in a Care Group?
In a typical Care Group meeting, you will:
- Develop relationships with others for mutual support and encouragement
- Study a book of the Bible or a book on a particular theme or role in life
- Pray for one another
- Enjoy life together!

- Tuesdays: 6pm, Kino Springs Life Group
- Wednesdays: 5:30pm, Youth Night (middle school/high school) (dinner provided)
- Wednesdays: 5:30pm, Women’s Group
- Wednesdays: 5:30pm, Spanish Life Group meeting at Maribel’s Beauty Salon Nogales, AZ.
- Thursdays: 5:30pm., Rio Rico Spanish Life Group
